Our HS3 (Hunter/Sniper) Chassis series is a combination of benchrest accuracy, superior ergonomics and specialized design. The new HS3 chassis brings your
bolt action rifle to the next level in versatility and ergonomics, with an instant improvement in accuracy. The chassis itself is only 2.47lb / 1.4kg and was designed based on customer feedback who wanted longer fore ends (3" longer than our LSS), and use fixed rifle stocks (as compared to our LSS chassis which was designed for compact use with collapsible stocks)
The drop-in chassis serves as a base to which the operator can add tactical components according to the desired functionality. The stock is manufactured out of aluminum, hard anodized to MIL Spec Type III, and has durable polymer side panels which can be ordered in black or Flat Dark Earth (FDE). Additional side panels are available in the colours Olive Drab Green (ODG), Hidden White (HW) and Tactical Gray (TG).
This chassis was designed to accept Fixed AR-15 butt-stocks and non-beavertail pistol grips.
The kit does not include buttstock and pistol grip or magazines, offering the option to customize from the wide variety available on the market.
The HS3 chassis uses AICS style magazines in .223 and .308 caliber for short action systems, and 300WM, 30.06 or .338LM for long action systems. Note that the magazine well for Long Action uses the 3.715 length, and therefore you need AICS magazine in 3.715.
The chassis supports installation of bolt on MIL-STN-1913 accessory mounting rails on the bottom and sides of the forend. For the sides you will need our specific HS3 Chassis rails. The mounting holes are spaced for Magpul style L5 (11 slots) and L3 (7 slots) rails (1.600” / 3.200”).
The rifle action only makes contact with the HS3 chassis on the V shape bedding and recoil lug area ensuring the best accuracy and repeatability. The generous clearance on the forend makes any barrel up to the size of the action itself free floated.

This is the only action that we manufacture a chassis for that has a flat bottom action. For this reason only our Polymer magazines will work. The fitting may need to be modified slightly for proper feeding.
For .223 models the bolt stop may be too long, this can easily be modified or just replaced with a bolt stop from a 308.
Savage models 10/110 11/111 12/112 16/116
For rifles with the bolt release at the bottom, the bolt release can be engaged through the side of the chassis, using a pin or tool. (Not included)
Savage Long Action in 338 Lapua Magnum
Savage Long Action chassis systems all use 3.715" AICS magazine wells. The BA 110 in Lapua Magnum uses 3.850" magazines and have recently switched to a thicker recoil lug which will not fit our chassis. We have released a version of the ESS, which is specifically designed around the current BA 110 in 338 Lapua Magnum.
Tikka T3 - Long Calibers
Only our Metal 3.56 magazine will fit with the chassis for this action and needs to be purchased separately.
Must use metal AICS magazines only. Will not work with .223 Remington or any .378" bolt face cartridge.
The dimensions shown are based on a Remington 700 Short Action.
Note that the Skeleton Rifle Stock shown is 1" shorter than a Magpul PRS.
