Jacob Reister Takes First in Wyoming, Gage Caples Takes Top Junior In Texas, Irish, and UK Teams Dominate 2024 Season!

This last weekend, MDT Shooter Gage Caples took Top Junior at the Freestone Shooting Complex PRS Regional match held at the Freestone Shooting Complex in Wortham, Texas. According to Gage, the venue did not disappoint, with small targets out to 1200 yards and shifting winds that kept shooters on their toes.

One day 2 at Freestone, Gage competed in a new Texas-based Series called the Gas Gun Show. The format of the Gas Gun Show is similar to what you would see at a PRS match; however, it was all gas guns. Gage competed in the Reece Division, which is limited to .223 caliber and optics with a maximum of 10x magnification, adding an extra layer of challenge to the event. Despite the difficulty, he finished 5th overall, 3rd in the Reece Division, and took home Top Junior!

Over in Cheney, Washington, MDT Supported Shooter Jacob Reister was having fun in the snow and fog at the PRS Regional Match at the Farm Out Range. Due to the dense fog, the shooters could not start shooting till around 11:00 am. Due to the late start, two stages had to be cut out to be able to finish before dark. During the entire day Jacob only dropped 9 points and took the win!
