MDT Scope Bases
Besides Chassis Systems, MDT makes accessories like scope rings, muzzle brakes, and scope bases. Scope bases are a critical interface between your rifle's receiver and the scope and scope rings. MDT Scope bases are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and Mil-Spec Type III hard-anodized and made according to MIL-STD-1913 & STANAG 4694 specifications. We believe our scope bases are some of the best on the market, and we offer three different bases for specific applications. Let's take a look at this product class.
20 MOA PICATINNY SCOPE BASE
The 20 MOA Picatinny Scope Base is a general use scope base perfect for hunting, competition, long-range, and general shooting. The 20 MOA Picatinny Scope Base is available for common short and long actions like Savage, Remington, Tikka, Howa, and Ruger, as well as a host of others, including some rimfire actions. The 20 MOA angle allows one to utilize more travel in their scope and is secured to the action via #6-48 TORX screws.

MDT HIGH SCOPE BASE
The MDT High Scope Base was purpose-built to complement the MDT ESS Full and Partial Rail system. When paired with a Full Rail, the end-user gets a seamless Picatinny rail for mounting Night Vision, Thermal, or Prism devices. When paired with a Partial Rail, the end can still leverage clip-on devices but have them at the same height.
