Joe Pask and Ryan Charlton Dominate GBPRA Rimfire Qualifier
Congratulations to Team MDT's Joe Pask and Ryan Charlton for their performances at the final Great Britain Precision Rifle Association Rimfire Qualifier Match this weekend. The match decided the final team for the International Precision Rifle Federation World Championship, and with the World Championship being held in Great Britain, competition for a place on the team has been fierce all season!
Team MDT’s Joe Pask focusing on the target whilst clinching first place.
Joe set the pace from the first stage and didn't let go of the top spot through the entire weekend, with a dominant performance on a very technical course of fire. In securing first place, Joe cemented his place in the GB team. After his win, Joe had this to say: "It was great being in a safe position for team qualification following the last match. Qualifying to shoot for Great Britain again is a huge honor, and I look forward to being part of a home World Championships."
Ryan Charlton capped off a strong second-day performance to finish just two points behind Joe and second place after winning the tiebreaker stage! In doing so, Ryan also secured his place in the GB team for a fourth consecutive Precision Rifle World Championship. Ryan said: "This year's rimfire qualification process has been a struggle for various reasons. Day one didn't go according to plan, and I was a little off the pace, but I never doubted myself, kept smiling, and stuck to my processes, knowing every shot would count. I can't wait to be part of a Rimfire World Championship on home soil".

The British Team selection comprises five qualifying matches held throughout the Summer and Autumn, with stiff competition across all divisions. MDT chassis and accessories have featured heavily in the majority of competitors' kit bags, and we'd like to thank those competitors for putting their trust in MDT products in their quest for success.
