Bergara Premier Elite Rifle - MDT Mention

Bergara and MDT recently teamed up to create the Bergara Premier Elite Rifle, which combines a Bergara action and barrel with the MDT ACC Elite Chassis System. The heart of the Bergara Premier Elite rifle is a Bergara Premier Action featuring a two-lug locking system, a floating bolt head, and a nitrided stainless steel finish. The Bergara Premier Action has a spiral-fluted stainless steel bolt with a cone-shaped bolt nose that provides the smooth feeding of rounds into the rifle’s chamber. The trigger featured with the Bergara Action is a TriggerTech Diamond trigger with .25 lbs to 2 lbs pull weight adjustability.

Attached to the Bergara Premier Action is a 26-inch No. 7 Stainless Steel Bergara Heavy Profile Barrel with a muzzle diameter of 23.6mm and a thread pattern of 5/8ths x 24. With an extensive track record in barrel manufacturing, Bergara tapped a former Marine Corps Precision Weapons Section member to help design some of the toughest and most consistent barrels since the early 2000s.

The MDT ACC Elite Chassis System provides extensive modularity, a detachable AICS magazine, full-length ARCA rail sections on all sides of the chassis’ forend, toolless adjustability, tool storage options, the MDT Elite Vertical Grip, the ability to add internal and external weights and an adjustable thumb shelf. The MDT ACC Elite Chassis system is finished in a “Titanium Blue” cerakote coating and is built from a block of hard anodized aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum.

BERGARA RESOURCES FROM MDT

The Bergara Premier Elite Rifle is available in 6 Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .308 Winchester. This rifle can be used for general precision rifle shooting, though it is optimized for PRS-style competition.
