This is my second GRNDPOD for my second MDT chassis. Absolutely phenomenal product. Light, durable, reliable,does everything I need it to do. As if that wasn't enough MDT has incredible customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

Only giving out 4 stars at this point because I JUST received it and have not shot with it yet- although I'm sure it's worth 5.
As with all my previous purchases from MDT it arrived earlier than expected. Craftsmanship is second to none and fitment is perfect. There is absolutely no wobble with the legs fully collapsed although there is some when fully extended; with varying amounts in between. Since this is my first non-Harris bipod I can't say if this is indicative of all bipods of this style or not. Perhaps a slightly tighter fit of the carbon fiber portion might help this.
The cant ability is a nice feature as rarely any natural surface is completely flat. The adjustment lever will get as tight as you could want it and being able to adjust the lever itself to the 3 o'clock position is awesome because it essentially locks in whatever tightness you have. I don't know if this was intended but it didn't take long to see the use case for it.
Aside from the wobble the only thing I think could use a little improving would be the burns for adjusting the angle and the length. They're hard plastic which isn't bad in/of itself but why not rubberize them?
Another small detail that I absolutely love about MDT is the inclusion of a chamber flag and the employee signed card. Yeah, I get it -Ashlyn is the random warehouse worker that pulled this off the shelf but in a world of detached indifference it just makes everything feel a little more personal; so thank you Ashlyn.

Fully functional ease of adjustment looks good as well by the materials used in construction it should be extremely durable !

After taking out the play in the legs it feels much better. I also machined a new tension knob for the ARCA clamp as the cheap small plastic one was hard on the fingers.
All in all a good buy at this price point.

The MDT GRND bipod has a solid ARCA attachment. The cant lever allows you to level the rifle on the bench. The legs are sturdy; they allow you to preload the bipod.

Ordered bipod for a picatinny rail on a T1X with an Oryx chassy. Unfortunately, it was slightly too long for the rail/mount (not MDT) I had. Called MDTand they suggested another type of MDT pic rail. They sent it out, and everything works great. I'm happy with the bipod's performance.

In general I am very pleased with the functionality of this unit and its ergonomic design. It would be nice to see an option for a steel knob on the ARCA clamp, but this is minor.

I probably should have recorded 4 stars as I haven't shot with it yet. the install was a little bit tricky, with barreled action in xrs chassis..the grnd has all the features I need for the type of shooting I do..thanks for your service ...Canada proud.

I own 2 GRND-PODs; one with a sling stud attachment and the other with a ARMS 17s for my Arcalock Clamp. I can't find anything wrong with them for ORPS and NRL22. They're Light, stable, reliable and easy to deploy.

I originally had the ARCA, but the tightening wheel isn't wonderful. But I sold that and picked up the ARMS17 head and put a decent quick release ARCA plate on it. Easy to find spike/claw feet for it. I've owned the CKYE pod (and a few other more expensive bipods) and I prefer this for the simplicity. I shoot PRS and this does everything I need. Even after spending the extra money on upgrading it a bit, it's still one of the best options for the money.
