MDT Expands LSS GEN3 Chassis System With New Ruger American, 10/22 Inlets and Modular Interface Options

MDT, a leader in precision rifle chassis systems, is proud to announce the launch of a major expansion to the LSS GEN3 Chassis System lineup with the release of new Ruger-specific inlets and interchangeable buttstock interface assemblies.

Designed for one of the most popular rifle platforms in North America, these new configurations bring the full modularity of the LSS GEN3 system to Ruger American and Ruger 10/22 owners, offering a precision-built upgrade path for competition shooters, hunters, and tactical users alike.

At the core of the LSS GEN3 platform is a modular chassis design that allows shooters to swap buttstocks, grips, and forends without removing the barreled action. This means users can transition between competition, hunting, and tactical setups while maintaining their optic zero and keeping their rifle tuned for performance.

New Ruger Inlets Now Available

MDT is launching multiple Ruger action-specific base chassis options, including:

  • Ruger American Short Action (Right Hand and Left Hand)

  • Ruger American Long Action (Right Hand)

  • Ruger American Short Action AR (Right Hand)

  • Ruger 10/22 (Right Hand)

Each inlet is engineered to deliver the rigidity, repeatability, and adaptability that define the LSS GEN3 system.

Interchangeable Interface Assemblies for Maximum Customization

To further expand modularity for Ruger platforms, MDT is also introducing three dedicated buttstock interface assemblies:

  • XTN Interface

  • Carbine Interface

  • Picatinny Interface

These interfaces allow Ruger American and Ruger 10/22 chassis owners to choose from a wide range of compatible buttstocks and braces, tailoring their rifle to their preferred shooting style. Ruger-specific interface assemblies are required for proper fitment and are not compatible with standard LSS GEN3 buttstock interfaces.

Built for Ruger Shooters

With features like replaceable forends, rigid interface geometry, and compatibility with MDT accessories and grips, the Ruger LSS GEN3 lineup offers a true chassis upgrade for shooters looking to modernize their rifle while keeping the platform they trust.

The new Ruger American and Ruger 10/22 LSS GEN3 chassis systems and interface assemblies are available now through MDT dealers and online at https://mdttac.com.
