MDT HNT26 Now Available for the Weatherby Mark 5

MDT HNT26 Now Available for the Weatherby Mark 5

The HNT26 is MDT’s first purpose-built hunting rifle chassis. While maintaining many of the standard features of MDT’s competition-style chassis, the HNT26 comes in at a mere 26oz! To accomplish this, the engineers utilized magnesium for the chassis construction and carbon fiber for the handguard. The user can choose an ARCA integrated forend and a folding stock for further adaptability. Other features include:

  • Magnesium and Carbon Fiber construction of optimum strength and weight savings.

  • Carbon Fiber touch points negate the “cold to the touch” feeling when hunting in extreme conditions.

  • Foam-filled carbon buttstock reduces felt recoil.

  • Seamless integration of design to reduce snag points, making a more comfortable carry.

  • Vertically adjustable foam cheek riser.

  • AICS compatible.

  • M-LOK enclosed forend (with optional ARCA integration).

  • Available in Black or Cobalt Green Cerakote.

The HNT26 is available in a variety of action inlets, including Remington 700 short and long actions, Savage 110, 10, 11, and 12 short actions, as well as 110 long actions; Tikka T3X short and long actions; Tikka T1X rimfire models; Howa 1500 short action; medium-length actions from Zermatt, Lone Peak, and Defiance; and, new this year, the Weatherby MK V long action. The MK V is a robust action engineered to handle some of the highest-pressure magnum cartridges available. Hunters have trusted its reliability and strength for generations. The HNT26 in the MK V inlet can be equipped with an optional integrated ARCA forend and folding stock. Click here for more information on MDT’s precision rifle solutions.
