Team MDT - Chad Heckler Wins MPRC (While Mentoring a Brand New Shooter)
Team MDT Shooter Chad Heckler had a great weekend, taking first in the Michigan PRC. The Match was the 5th in the series and was held at the Marksmanship Training Center in Lake City, Michigan. In preparation for the IPRF World Championship next month, Chad used the event as a training day with his 308 Winchester Rifle. During the event, Chad lent a rifle to a new shooter and mentored him during the Match.
For the Match, Chad used a custom rifle from his company, 5x5 Precision. The rifle consisted of a Mod400 Bartlein barrel spun onto a Lone Peak Arms Fuzion Action. The barreled action was mated to an ACC Elite chassis and augmented with a Send-It Level, Crush It timer, MDT Elite Rings, Triggertech Diamond, Area 419 Maverick, Area 419 Zero, and Accu-Tac bipod. For optics, Chad used a Leupold Optics Mark 5HD W/PR-2 reticle.
