This weight mounts in the lower pocket of the MDT SRS-X Elite, SRS-X Lite & SRS-XF Premier buttstocks. The weight and its hardware will add 0.65 lb to your rifle system all the way at the rear, moving your balance point rearward significantly. To install, simply remove the buttpad assembly, slide the weight into the lower pocket, attach with included screws and reinstall the buttpad assembly.

Much like M-LOK foreend weights, this is also a weight. It make heavier. Heavy good. It make better balance. Balance good. Install kind of awkward, not so good, but not hard. A little pricey. Would recommend.

Fit and finish are top notch. With a 20 inch barrel it moved the weight back, but some rail weights and she's all balanced up. I wanted the extra weight, I knew it would pull the balance back.

I am happy and satisfied with the product, it is pricey, but not having equipment to make it myself, it is well worth the money..As a longtime shooter, I understand limited production items by their nature, (supply and demand,)tend to be costly …Later,,,,Ed Bolt…..
