Field Stock

I purchased the Field Stock for a Ruger American Gen 2 in .308.
What an awesome product! Although the field stock is the most inexpensive chassis from MDT, it is perfectly suited for the field with the hunter in mind.
Easy installation, although a QR code or an items list identifying the pins for the trigger and bolt release would have been helpful. An extra step is required for the Ruger and I was directed by customer service to a YouTube install video for the Oryx chassis which explained it perfectly.
Awesome product and a serious upgrade with enough spacers provided to perfectly adjust my length of pull.

Fits like a glove, thanks for making a quality stock. Will look for other stick upgrades from you on my other firearms in the future

I was using an Orynx chassis, but wanted to drop a bit of weight for field use and swapping out for the field stock really helped. There was not a significand loss of accuracy, on average over 5 groups, a drop of 0.15" (@ 100yds) over 5 groups, still maintaining a sub ¾" group.

Amazing, budget friendly option for someone looking to upgrade their factory rifle. Makes a world of a difference with consistency and comfort while shooting. Have it mounted on my Cz457 22LR. I have to say my experience shooting this rifle just got a lot better with this MDT product. These guys just don’t miss!! I highly recommend their 20 Moa rails as well, they are rock solid. Keep up the amazing work MDT!

Great construction but . . .

When I received the box after the Black Friday offer, I realized the chassis was only supposed to use an MDT 3. 560 magazine on the box. During my purchase, there was no note telling me I needed to buy a different magazine than the original one.
The website stated it was compatible with AICS magazines, not just this one.
So, expect to spend another $80. . . for mag

I love the look with my Winchester XPR in 6. 5 Creedmoor — practically the same color, so it matches really well! With the great advice from customer service, I found the right magazines: I got a 10-round polymer one and a 12-round metal one, and they work perfectly with this chassis. The ergonomics are excellent, and the weight feels just right. I haven’t had the chance to shoot with it yet, but I really can’t wait!

I bought a MDT field stock and appropriate magazine for my Ruger American Gen-2 in . 223. The results are incredible, rifle shot 1" at best with several different loads tested. New stock and trigger adjustment and this happened. ☆☆☆☆☆

As usual MDT has knocked it out of the park.
The field stock is in my humble opinion the best value in aftermarket stocks for my builds.
Is it better than an oryx or otherscin the lineup probably not.
That being said this stock is the perfect compromise in value and performance. The 5 or 6 mdt field stocks I've put on for myself and customers all went perfect.
Drop action in snug up action screws tap but on floor torque to 60 inch pnds. Done
Just finished up on a 300 winmag savage 110 flawless tack driver.
. 6 moa with a book load from Barnes. Hard to beat these stocks for the money.
Added bonus the stock fits my bog pod pefectly!! So confident I finished the rifle at 2 pm and am in the stand at 6 pm

The combination of the MDT field stock and 20moa rail makes the tikka 1x perfect for golf balls and a know your limits target past 200 yards. Another rifle that out preforms the guy on the trigger :(

Great stock for the price! The fit and finish is perfect. Got it for a Savage action . 22 Creed build with the bottom bolt release and all works great! The FDE color looks great. Love it.

Put a savage 111 in the field stock and it made the rifle feel so much better. Couldn’t be happier. Would recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade their rifle for a great price.

The Field Stock was a nice upgrade from the flimsy polymer stock that came with my rifle. It was very easy to install and functions well.

Best bang for your buck stock to throw any rifle into you want to get a little more out of , very satisfied with my purchase for my savage MKII 22lr

I bought the field stock to replace the piece of trash on my savage mark 2. The quality and rigidity of this stock is leaps and bounds ahead. I gave it a 4 bc I’m still in the process of finding an action screw torque and ammunition to make it as accurate as I feel it should be. Was really happy to be able to support a Canadian company.

Got the hunting stock for my Ruger Gen 2 in . 223 cal. First time out to the range same hole every time.

I love mine! Dropped right into my Ruger American predator. Huge difference from the factory stock. The only thing I would change is for it to come with a thumb rest.

Love the field stock and very happy with it. Had to modify the magazine release to hold magazines but after a helpful customer service conversation, 10min with a file and I was done. Looking forward to using the stock lots on my tikkas 6. 5 cm and 300 wsm.

Installation was flawless the stock Is everything I expected and more?

Bought the field stock and GRND bipod for my tikka t3x. Got the LA version to fit my 300wm action and the thing looks unreal. I love the feel of the pistol grip and it’s super nice having the adjustable cheek riser and LOP options.

Already recommended it to a few people and everyone else is asking to shoot it now.

100% recommend picking it up.
