MDT 12-round magazines are approximately ¾” shorter in height than standard AICS 10-round magazines due to MDT’s unique Double Stack to Single Feed (DSSF) transition design, allowing easier mag changes when shooting prone.
12-round magazine includes 2 internal ribs that help reduce friction between the cartridge and magazine body and provide a smooth transition from a double stack to single feed at the top of the magazine.

Additionally, through testing, we have found that these magazines do not work out of the box with three lug actions. We have found you can make them work with some tweaking of the feed lips.

Purchased the MDT 6 BR 12 round mags for my new build. It's a Lone Peak Fuzion action in a Foundation Centurion in 6mm BRA. At this point I have just over 200 round down the tube. My first 50 rounds was shot from a bench, getting zero and gathering data out to 600 yards. All the rest of my shooting was barricade practice simulating PRS style stages. At this point I've had 0 issues feeding so I'm certainly happy with this magazine.

Isn't it funny how many stages are more than 10 rounds? I have multiple MDT magazines for other rifles and they have been flawless. I was at a match recently lamenting they don't make a 12 round magazine for a Dasher (turns out I was misinformed) and one of the guys in my squad was "do you mean like this?" so on Monday I ordered this, hooray! I think it came in 3 days just in time for the next match.

Sharp edges at the lips, scratching the brass.
The scratching of brass is normal, as brass is a much softer material than the steel feedlips of the magazine.

I am about to purchase a couple of mags for my new Dasher. Using an ACC Elite Chassis and a Terminus Zeus action (3 lug). I read that when using a 3 lug, there might need to be some mods done to your mags. Is there any way you can send me instructions on how to perform these mods? Thank you.... Ot do you think they will run just fine out of the box?

This is the best mag on the market for AICS style mags. It's shorter than the standard 10 round with base extension. I am able to use it for stages where I would have had to run an AW mag but now have the single feed reliability.
