COMPATIBILITY
Tested and compatible with MDT, AICS and Accurate-Mag AICS pattern 3.050 length metal magazines.
IMPORTANT
When used with MDT 10-round metal magazines, a longer spring/follower combination must be used (available separately on the MDT website), as the existing spring is not long enough to provide sufficient force on the follower when the extender is installed. This will work with all other known metal 10 round 308 AICS magazines. This extender will not work with any magazine that has any inserts like our 6BR magazine or a metal 223 mag with polymer inserts.

Using it on an MDT 12 rounder and it comfortably fits 15 rounds. Very slightly more sensitive to the rounds not being seated in the magazine but overall very happy with it.

Don't be discouraged removing original bottom metal.
Just alternate hitting each side with a rubber mallet until it
loosens.

The extenders that I have used to date work flawlessly. Admittedly, they do look a little cheesy being plastic and all. This winter should give them a torture test it's already been below 0 here at 10,000' ASL. I'll keep ya in the loop.

The fit and finish is good. But I tried to use these on my .223 mags and it didn’t work at all. Didn’t have enough pressure to feed the last 3 rounds and the 10 rd 223 metal mags don’t feed 10 rounds so.

I love all the MDT products I have bought. I am sure this one would have been no exception, but I was dumb on this one and didn't fully read the description. I thought I could use it with my long action metal mags and was in a rush to order and this is ONLY for short action metal mags. Having said that, I plan to keep as I am sure I will get into a short action build at some point. Love all MDT products and the quality and function.

I paired this with the spring/follower to take my 10rd to a 12 rd. It works great. Super easy to install. No complaints at all.

Went right on, I advise a long screwdriver, I tried a shorter one and slightly marred the finish. Fit great and as close to high capacity as you can get with a AICS pattern magazine

Good addition to the 12 round short action magazines.
Make sure you have a long small diameter shaft philips screw driver to install. As the screws that hold the extension on are close to the magazine body.
If i where to have a wish for these extensions. Would be they where made of aluminum.
Otherwise they fit great look good work good and where basic to install once had right screwdriver.

I added this extender to one of my 10 rd magazines and it works exactly like it should. I put 12 rds in and if I close the bolt often enough, 12 rds come out. No drama, no voodoo. It just works.
