Bought this for a 22 250 build, haven't had a chance to try it yet but I'm sure it will work just fine. I have some in 308 and they are flawless, great product, good prices, and great service.

The magazine follower on the 22-250 magazine gets hung up inside the shell and doesn't allow a proper feed. Maybe it's just the magazine that came with my savage rifle but this MDT 22-250 mag i have is absolute garbage, and then to by a replacement at $80 is ridiculous. I don't mind paying that price as long as the product is good, but the one i got is junk.

Guess i got one of the bad ones? Tried everything to get my rounds to feed. Damaged so many.

It is more common to see lead tip bullets hit the feedramp and sligtly shave, but shouldnt cause any jamming. Also, what chassis and action do you have?

Work great for Howa 1500. Need to file the front two corners to the same shape as the front of the follower. (Not much) Polish with 180 grit and a bluing pen and your good to go.

The mag works perfectly. Not sure how they did it but they made a 22-250 function in a 10 round mag. It presents the cartridge perfectly to chamber. Feeds great. This plus a chassis changes the game for the old 250.

I was skeptical to pay this much for a specific mag but was not having much luck with the . 308 mag . I happen to catch this on sale & can say it works way better & is worth the extra money.

I went from a heavy AR platform to a light bolt action platform overnight. With the decreased weight, walking miles in the dark, I am more of a mobile coyote hunter. My Savage SA accuracy has increased a lot due to the solid stance my bolt and rifle is seated in. I went from MOA to sub MOA at 200 yards.
The very first night I went coyote hunting, I was able to risk a 200 yard shot on a weary dog with pinpoint accuracy.
The field stock not only improved my confidence at farther distances, it helped my accuracy.
Great product. And for the people whose question the poly front end. I do not know why, I have attachments on both sides and I use an ARCA rail, and I have not noticed a difference.

Best 22-250 magazine I have owned, this is the only magazine I have found that can reliably hold more than four rounds! I have purchased two more, and highly recommend.

Picked up these magazines for my Weatherby Vanguard chambered in 22-250 and mounted in an Oryx chassis. They had some fitment issues that was rectified with a fine tooth file. Apparently the howa / vanguard actions are a bit picky and requires about an 1/8th of an inch of material to be removed. Now that it's gone, fits great.

I bought this mag so I wasn’t limited to 6 rounds in a . 308 magazine. The mag holds 10 rounds without binding, it fits nice and snug in my magwell and feeds reliably every time without having adjust or modify the feed lips.

After carefully filing and fitting to perfection. It still has a bit of elevator spring hang up. But it may get better after more reloading magazine. Time will tell.

The magazine feeds well but fit into the magazine well is too tight, making quick reloads challenging I’ll have to modify it slightly to seat properly and probably modify the magazine well for proper function

Looking into your order it looks like the magazine was purchased for a Howa 1500 Field Stock. Metal magazines do require slight modification to seat into a chassis with a Howa 1500 installed. After a little dremel work (Howa 1500), it fit and works fine.
I wish it was available in polymer for smoother operation and I wish it wasn't so expensive. I would also like to have a plate at the back of the magazine to shorten bolt throw.
All in all, I will buy another one.

Its a solid magazine and fits well but the internal spring tension on the follower is too strong. Its pinching the shells in too tight, hard to cycle.

Great mags. Feed lips were very tight out of box - would be nice to include a feed lip tool to help shape
Thank you for the feedback. The 22-250 is very difficult to feed, so we don't recommend adjusting the feed lip spacing. They are intended to be tight out of the box.
