Took a gun that was no fun to shoot and made it a whole new animal. No w has a detachable mag and cheek pad adjustment. Wish I had done years ago.

This mag is May favorite for 223 rem. Easily the best fitting, functioning mag out there in my experience. I’ve modified multiple 223 mags to get longer seating depth but with this mag it easily lets me fit 75 grainers extended all the way to the lands without any issues or hiccups and with no modifications. It could even fit longer on all my 223s. You will not be disappointed. MDT’s magazines are all top notch from top to bottom.

Product was ordered and shipped in a timely manner. Always have had great luck with MDT magazines never an issue. They are A1.

A 4 or 5 round magazine would be great too for the .223.

Upgraded my Tikka CTR chassis to MDT XRS and needed AICS magazines.

Bought these for a 17 Javelina build and they feed flawlessly, other brand mags have issues. Would love to see a flush fit . 223 magazine for the HNT26 chassis that I used for this build.

I actually bought the magazine for a custom . 204 ruger build. Fit and function are perfect, I will definitely be purchasing more.

The mag spring tension is a bit 'over the top'. Loading #10 into the mag is an effort that is kind of understandable but the bolt needs to be open when inserting the mag and jacking the top round requires an effort that isn't acceptable!

Unfortunately with the magazine redesign the OAL went from 2. 550" to 2. 450" which i was unaware of. Also I can now only fit 9 rounds of . 223 AI and they do not feed as well as the older version. Wish the magazine had not been updated.

Fit and feed perfectly in my Magpul stocked Remington 700 SPS Tactical straight out of the package. No tweaking was required.

I was hoping to snag a metal mag, but they were out of stock. Picked up one of these instead. It works well. It’s growing on me. I’m still going to pick up a metal mag at some point though too

this magazine not fit on my howa oryx 1500 short action mdt 223, i order the wrong magazine

Works great. The stock mags for the Tikka 223 doing allow for longer COAL. These have plenty of room. Really happy with my first experience with MDT.
