The Oryx Buttstock Adjustment Knobs allow for a tooless adjustment of the buttstock cheek riser height.

It's great if you're sharing your rifle with other shooters or adding layers of clothing during the winter. Additionally, it makes taking out the bolt for cleaning or bore sighting a scope much easier. It's affordable and brings toolless adjustment to your precision rifle buttstock.

The Savage Mk II .22LR action sits low in the chassis and, therefore, the bolt doesn't clear the check riser when trying to remove for cleaning. This product is highly recommended for that particular rifle.

BUY THEM!!

The Oryx Adjsutment knobs work great. I highly recommend purchasing them at the same time you purchase the Oryx stock. The Oryx stock is awesome. It is a quick easy way to improve your accuracy. No bedding, just bolt in and go. I do need an oryx sticker for my rifle case to match the one on my bench.

The knobs work very well at keeping the cheek piece at the set height. The reverse is also very quick in removing it for bore sighting or cleaning the barrel. As expected from MDT, quality, fit and finish are excellent. The only downside is the two knobs do not let the cheek piece all the way to the bottom position. This is a quick fix with a bench belt sander to cove out the cheek piece at a larger radius where the knobs meet the cheek piece.

If you are running into the Adjustment Knobs loosening off on you we do recommend a drop of purple locktite on those threads to prevent them from backing off under recoil.
